The
Grange EstateThe Grange Estate and Mansion are located in Havertown, PA, just west of the Philadelphia city line. The original land grant and grounds date back to the year 1682; George Washington, among other famous personages, was a guest at the site.
Today The Grange is shown as a nineteenth century Victorian country house, the summer home of the Ashurst family, as it was around the turn of the century. The Mansion is surrounded by extensive Victorian gardens and woodland.
The Grange is open from 1-4 every Saturday and Sunday during the Spring, Summer and Fall. Numerous seasonal and special events are featured during the year.
The Mansion and grounds are available for rentals for weddings and other genteel festivities.
